Proximity: using visual space to show relationships in the content (grouped letters or logo together, and separated group that not related to each other)

 

White space: helps define and separated different sections, a negative space like the space between the contents, lines, and the outer margins.

 

Alignment: for instance image or separate text boxes, alignment helps to imagine the contents arranged inside of a grid.

 

Contrast: simply means one different from one another.to catch reader's eyes, call attention to something important or create emphasis. can be seen by using a different size, color, styles of text or even shape.

 

Hierarchy: visual technique helps the viewer navigate your work using a different level of emphasis.
